Not very long, unless you put water in it.

1 hour, maybe 2.

2 hours tops, it needs fresh air in the water eventually.

Use a cup/mug full of water if you have to get creative, just remember to drain some old water out and pour new water in to help keep it alive.

Don’t really want to put it in untreated water.

My bad, I meant like filtered drinking water (water cooler, those expensive fridges with built-in filters, etc).

I don’t know. Let’s find out.

Depends on how much air they put in. When I bought fish for my tropical tank I'd freak out about a couple hours and they'd laugh at me. As long as they pump in enough oxygen and the temperature stays good you'll be fine for a long while. At least 4-6 hours.
